Our offer

The Trattoria La Campana is a place with an extraordinary history, offering authentic Italian cuisine, tranquillity and relaxation from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The restaurant has a magnificent, iron forged, late gothic entrance gate. Awaiting guests are two beautiful timbered rooms where the windows overlook the romantic garden surrounded by ancient and historic walls. Two other rooms, located in the basement of the tenement house, introduce guests to the medieval atmosphere of mysterious Krakow.

The historic townhouse, known as the “House under the Three Crowns” in which La Campana is housed, was once the meeting place of the Wawel Bells Brotherhood, custodians of the Zygmunt Bell. Hence the name “la campana”, which in a free translation means “bell”.

As tradition goes, after some hard work – swinging the thirteen-ton colossus bell requires a lot of effort – members of the Brotherhood met in the local inn to recover their forces.

Lovers of Italian cuisine will find not only the best dishes prepared with original products, but also a relaxing atmosphere far from any of the noise and disturbance of the city.

Specialties of the restaurant include Italian meat dishes, delicious starters, various pastas and excellent main courses. The menu also has some wonderful desserts. And for amateurs of Italian wines we have representative Italian aperitifs, grappa, liquors and digestifs, for example, Fernet Branca.

Located in the very center of Krakow, the Italian Trattoria La Campana guarantees perfect conditions for every occasion. For many years our restaurant has been organising business events. The unique Italian atmosphere and dishes prepared with the freshest and appropriately selected products have influenced the choice of La Campana by many companies. It is only in our restaurant with its southern atmosphere and history that company employees can feel free to become one big Italian family.

Business meetings

Apart from business events, our offer also includes business meetings and lunches. The atmosphere in La Campania is conducive for the forming of business contacts and is the best place to conduct successful talks and negotiations. We make sure that business meetings take place in appropriate settings so that our customers will always return to La Campana for yet another successful meeting.

With a view to the special conditions of business meetings we have introduced a number of facilities:

reservation of a table(s) distant from other guests (if possible),
early establishment of a special menu,
dishes prepared for a specific hour,
payment by bank transfer at a later date,
other, requirements according to guests.

Customers ordering business lunches have the option of creating their own special menu. Reservations should be made with the sales department. With prior group bookings there is the possibility of payment by bank transfer.

Gift vouchers

For those who want to surprise their friends and family we have created gift vouchers.

A voucher bon can be purchased for any amount and is valid for six months from the date of purchase.

Garden

La Campana Garden at the foot of the Wawel Hill is one of the most mysterious and beautiful places in Krakow’s Old Town. Surrounded by ancient walls, it gives the venue a romantic atmosphere, and the rich vegetation and its Italian style make a visit to the garden not only a culinary treat, but an aesthetic experience also.

We accept bookings for seating in the garden, which also, in case of a change in the weather, we assign an appropriate table inside the restaurant.

Live music

Situated in the very center of the city, La Campana’s Krakow’s restaurant is an unforgettable atmosphere of authentic medieval interiors and exquisite Italian cuisine.
